Clear communication for every audience
Conferences, corporate events and international gatherings often bring together people who speak different languages or have different accessibility needs. The right professionals and technology can help everyone follow, participate and engage with the event.
You might need simultaneous interpreters for a multilingual conference, consecutive interpreting for meetings or presentations, a sign-language interpreter, or live captioning for greater accessibility. International events may also require translated materials, multilingual moderators, interpretation booths, headsets and other specialist equipment.
With PlanEvents, you can describe your event, languages, location, audience and accessibility or technical requirements so relevant professionals can understand what you need from the start.

Planning for an international audience?
Language and accessibility may be only one part of delivering an event for a diverse audience.
With PlanEvents, the same request can include AV and conference technology, a venue, catering, photography and livestreaming, event staff, transport and other services.
One event. One request. The professionals you need.Questions about interpreting, translation & accessibility
What information should I include when requesting an interpreter?
Include your event date and location, the languages required, type of event and the type of interpreting you need if known. Details such as the schedule, number of participants, subject matter and whether interpreting equipment is available can also help professionals understand your requirements.
What’s the difference between simultaneous and consecutive interpreting?
With simultaneous interpreting, the interpreter translates while the speaker is speaking, commonly using specialist equipment at conferences and multilingual events. With consecutive interpreting, the speaker pauses at intervals while the interpreter translates. The appropriate approach depends on the format and needs of your event.
Can I request interpreters and interpretation equipment together?
Yes. You can include interpreters together with booths, headsets, receivers and other interpretation equipment in the same event request. You can also add AV and technical production if your event requires broader technical support.
Can I request accessibility services for my event?
Yes. You can request services such as sign-language interpreting, live captioning or subtitling and other accessibility services. PlanEvents does not provide these services itself. The platform connects your request with relevant independent professionals, who can contact you directly.
