Serving Mocktails at Your Event
Prepare suitable juice bases in advance and keep them chilled; add sparkling mixers close to serving. The calculator multiplies ingredients, not preparation time or a proven batch method. For a larger group, agree separate arrangements for herbs, ice and garnishes.
Name the flavours on your menu so guests can choose fresh, tart or gently spicy. Keep water available. Check the actual bottles, allergens and dietary requirements with the bar or catering team. Use verified alcohol-free soft-drink mixers, never ordinary alcoholic bitters. A “mocktail” name or a low-alcohol label is not a guarantee of complete alcohol avoidance; ask the manufacturer if a guest requires it.
For the cucumber recipe, use plain 1:1 sugar syrup: dissolve 50 g white sugar in 50 ml hot water, cool completely, then measure the amount needed. Its final volume is not 100 ml. Allow extra time for cooling; the recipe’s preparation estimate assumes cooled syrup is ready.
