A short pitch can open a longer conversation. At Jong Voka’s Life Sciences Breakfastclub, five start-up and scale-up founders present their businesses, with networking time before and after their presentations. That format brings emerging entrepreneurs into the same room as professionals from established life-sciences companies. For founders, it offers a setting to discuss ideas and hear other entrepreneurial experiences; for established teams, it is a way to discover newer businesses in the sector. Breakfast at Voka Box keeps the meeting compact enough to fit into a working morning. The event runs from 08:00 to 10:30 on 4 November. Attendance is free with registration for young or prospective founders active in, or interested in, life sciences and for leaders and professionals from established companies in the sector.
