Ten specialist food shows make Anuga a place to follow an ingredient, a category or a changing taste across the wider market—from familiar regional products to alternatives built around new proteins.

About this event

Anuga’s appeal lies in moving between food worlds that are often considered separately. Fine foods sit within the same exhibition as bakery, chilled and frozen products, dairy, drinks and organic ranges, with dedicated space for alternative products and proteins. For food retailers, importers, chefs and catering buyers, that structure creates room to discover unfamiliar producers while seeing how established categories are changing. A visit can stay focused on a particular range or widen into neighbouring categories that suggest new combinations for a shop, menu or foodservice offer. The ten-show format gives each sector its own context without losing the international breadth of the exhibition. Conversations with manufacturers and brands can connect questions of ingredients and provenance with the realities of distribution and professional use. Koelnmesse and BVLH organise Anuga in Cologne from 9 to 13 October 2027, with visitor access from 10:00 daily. Entry is restricted to trade visitors, with proof of industry affiliation required.
