Smart City Expo World Congress 2026

Explore urban innovation where city challenges meet start-up demonstrations, research and practical technology, with a separate congress programme for deeper policy discussions.

About this event

At the Innovation Playground, cities, start-ups and researchers meet around the problems urban technology is meant to solve. Demonstrations, pitches and a reverse-pitch session create a practical entry point to Smart City Expo World Congress: understanding a city’s needs alongside the ideas being developed to address them. The wider exhibition connects mobility, energy and the environment with housing, infrastructure, digital technologies and urban life. City officials, planners, technology teams and investors can explore how these areas interact, rather than treating each as an isolated project. The congress adds policy and strategic discussion, with its own access options. Tickets start from €200 including VAT for the three-day Visitor Pass. Full Congress passes cost €1,250 including VAT. University students can request a 50% discount with proof and an organiser-issued code, and groups of six or more qualify for a 25% discount. See the official registration page for pass inclusions and available options. Exhibitor pricing and participation details are available from the organiser.
