SHOWTECH 2027 – Theatre & Stage Technology

Discover theatre and stage technology at SHOWTECH 2027, taking place from 1 to 3 June in Berlin. Explore professional lighting, sound, stage engineering and production solutions.

About this event

A stage installation has to work as a whole: machinery, lighting, sound and control systems must fit the space and the production. SHOWTECH 2027 brings these disciplines together at ARENA Berlin from 1 to 3 June, with an exhibition and congress for theatre, stage and event professionals. DTHG Service GmbH organises the event in cooperation with the Deutsche Theatertechnische Gesellschaft. Its announced scope includes stage engineering, lighting, audio and acoustics, media and projection, control networks, software and specialist planning. The intended audience includes technical directors, designers, production teams, manufacturers and people training for the sector. The useful part of visiting is the opportunity to discuss how equipment and working methods fit a real production brief. A technical team can compare approaches to lighting control or stage systems, ask suppliers about integration and maintenance, and identify options that deserve closer assessment. Those conversations are relevant to theatres, cultural venues and live-event producers facing similar technical decisions. The organiser also describes demonstration and discussion formats, including SoundLab. The detailed 2027 programme is due in February. Trade-visitor hours are 10:00–18:00 on 1 and 2 June and 10:00–16:00 on 3 June, local time. Visitor ticket prices have not yet been confirmed. Early-bird ticket sales are announced for January 2027. Visit the official website for ticket information; exhibitor options and pricing are available from the organiser.
