At ITB Berlin, a destination conversation can lead directly to a discussion about the technology, distribution or specialist travel market behind it. Regional exhibition areas sit alongside segments such as business travel, adventure tourism and travel technology, giving tourism professionals several ways to approach the same commercial question. The Maldives is the official host country for 2027. Across the wider fair, tour operators, travel buyers, destination teams, hoteliers and technology providers can combine supplier and destination meetings with the ITB Berlin Convention. The convention is included in visitor tickets, allowing a day to mix industry discussion with conversations on the exhibition floor. Planning those meetings starts before arrival: trade tickets include an ITB Navigator profile for networking, scheduling and matching suggestions. That makes preparation part of the visit, particularly for professionals comparing several destinations or services. Early-bird trade tickets start from €52 including VAT for one day, or €75 for all three days, through 14 January 2027; standard prices are €59 and €85.
