About this event

When a family business changes direction, business decisions and family responsibilities often meet. Family Business Happening brings current owners and the next generation together to exchange experiences of managing that change. Voka Oost-Vlaanderen hosts the evening at Stokerij Rubbens in Wichelen. The programme explores how digitalisation can reshape a company and how entrepreneurs respond to unexpected crises or changes in key family roles. Interactive roundtables and dinner give participants time to relate those experiences to their own business, followed by networking and dessert. Reception and a company tour begin at 17:45 on 12 November 2026, with the welcome at 18:30. The event runs until 22:00 at Bohemen 101, 9260 Wichelen. Participation is free as part of Voka membership for eligible current and future family-business entrepreneurs. Non-members should contact the organiser about access and conditions.
