About this event

Before a business introduces AI tools, it needs to understand where its data comes from, who is responsible for it and whether it can be used reliably. This AKT Digital masterclass turns those questions into a practical exercise based on participants’ own data flows. The programme examines data mapping, internal responsibilities, quality and availability, alongside the implications of GDPR, the Data Act and the AI Act for data governance. Participants work towards an action plan. BDO contributes expertise on governance and the regulatory framework, while Proximus NXT addresses infrastructure, security and hosting. Organised by AKT – CCI Brabant wallon, the session is intended for business leaders and IT, data, finance and operations managers who want to prepare a more dependable foundation for AI projects. The workshop takes place on 9 November 2026, 13:30–17:30, at Business Village Ecolys, Avenue d’Ecolys 2, 5020 Suarlée, Namur. Registration is required. Prices are €180 excluding VAT for members and €250 excluding VAT for non-members.
